Okay.
If anybody knows me. I am a huge fan of the digimon franchise and one of the 5 titular that holds great influence to my style in illustration, story telling and overall my entry to the love for ART that I have today.
1 being my mother (R.I.P.), 2 being the Sonic The hedgehog franchise, 3 being the Digimon franchise, 4 being Dragon Ball Z and other anime franchises that follows the shonen format, and 5 American super heroes... MAINLY marvel heroes.. most notably Spiderman.
Recently I got back into the Digimon card game... at the while watching the current Digimon series, Digimon Ghost Game.
I been really taken back into my element after the tragic events in my life that occurred in December and January.
I feel like I can start pressing forward and gain my footing again into the things that I love which is animation, illustration, and graphic design... as well as supporting and "Fangirling" over amazing and underrated series like Digimon: Digital Monsters.
Since the Digimon and Digimon TCG community, in my opinion, is a little hard to get into if you aren't in the correct areas... for me I live in Charlotte, NC and we don't have much of a Digimon home for tournaments a part from Pokemon tcg, Magic the Gathering and Yu-gi-oh.. (Which are all great... just I have been so out of the loop with those card games).
I will post more information about the platforms of this North Carolina Digimon TCG community later and I will possibly create a sub-site on my own website for the fan-community.
Hoping we don't get flagged, because when I get fan crazy... I get FAN CRAZY. Similar to sonic fans making sonic personas, fan-figures, and fan games. I might through unofficial tournaments, make fanmade-novelty Digimon tcg cards (just for show), and Produce, recreate, or modify Digimon Figures. Who knows.
I... as a NERD... am really looking forward to doing this.
